Shuangxi Spring Middle cigarettes

Double Happiness Spring Medium is a flue-cured cigarette from the celebrated Double Happiness brand, presented here in its Spring Medium edition. It delivers 10 mg tar, 0.9 mg nicotine and 9 mg carbon monoxide, and each cigarette measures 86 mm in the medium-format gauge that has become a favourite among smokers who want a fuller feel without going to a standard king size.

Packaging and format. The cigarettes come in hard cardboard cartons, with 20 cigarettes to a pack and 10 packs to a carton. The pack carries the barcode 6901028008884, while the carton is marked 6901028008891.

The design features the kapok flower, the city flower of Guangzhou and a bloom that heralds the arrival of spring. On the pack the flower is rendered with a raised, textured finish that makes its colours stand out vividly.

In the words of smokers, the Spring Medium draws smoothly and cleanly, with a pure, fragrant character that carries the feeling of spring, rounding off with what many describe as a faint sweetness at the finish.
