This cigarette is named after the city of Nanjing, the site of the most heinous crime ever commited on human life. During WWII, Japanese troops entered the city and killed, maimed, and raped the local citizens at will. This event is now known as the Nanjing Massacre, and is a blot on the history of Japan.
